This is as badass as they come.
Kim Luces of GMA News Online reports that Filipino animator Dudz Clotario has launched the first stop-motion video featuring LEGO characters re-enacting important events in Philippine history.
According to the report, Clotario's first video will focus on the "The Battle of Tirad Pass." Its trailer, which was released on January 15, features "American and Filipino camps engaging in a shooting spree-with tufts of cotton coming out of each soldier’s gun with every shot."
Included in the list of Philippine historical events that Clotario plans to make a film on in the future using animated LEGO figures are the "Battle of Mactan, the story of Gabriela Silang, and the battle fought by Private First Class Narcisco Ortilano during World War II."
