Vhong Navarro files criminal charges against businessman Cedric Lee, 7 others in connection with BGC mauling incident

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that "actor-host Vhong Navarro has filed criminal complaints against the group of businessman Cedric Lee, who allegedly attacked him inside a condominium unit" in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig last week.
According to the report, Navarro's camp charged businessman Cedric Lee, his sibling Bernice Lee, and model Deniece Cornejo with "serious physical injuries, grave threat, grave coercion, unlawful arrest, blackmail, and serious illegal detention, which is a non-bailable offense." Five others are also included in the list of respondents, whom the actor claimed acted as Lee's accomplices in beating him up last January 22.
Based on the findings of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Lee and the other individuals accused "are believed to have plotted the incident." Navarro claimed in earlier reports he was se up by Cornejo inside her unit to be beaten up by Lee and his companions. Cornejo, meanwhile, said the actor tried to rape her and she was just rescued by the businessman from the attempt.
