David Beckham set to visit Yolanda survivors in Tacloban on Valentine’s Day
This will be his second visit to the Philippines.
Bong Lozada of Inquirer.net reports that British football superstar David Beckham is set to arrive on the Philippines this Friday (February 14) to visit victims of typhoon Yolanda.
The report, which was based on article posted by MStars News, quoted Beckham as saying that he will be visiting Tacloban City with officials from the United Nations International Emergency Children's Fund (Unicef). The football heartthrob first went to the Philippines in December 2011 to play in a charity match against the Philippine Azkals.
Beckham acknowledged that the trip will mean he won't get to celebrate Valentine's Day with his wife, Victoria. "I won't be with her but we will make sure we celebrate it before or after," he said.
