No more delays: Manila Cathedral reopens on March 25
We’re sure the faithful are saying, "Hallelujah!"
Christina I. Hermoso of the Manila Bulletin reports: "The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, more popularly known as the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila, is set to reopen its doors on March 25, two years after its closure for major repair and renovation work."
The reopening of the church will coincide with a Marian feast, the Solemnity of the Annunciation. Basilica Rector Msgr. Nestor Cerbo said that "all major events of the Archdiocese of Manila will again be celebrated in the basilica" from thereon.
