"Selfie stamps" now possible after PhlPost rolls out personalized stamps project
Other personal photos can also be turned into stamps.
Evelyn Macairan of The Philippine Star reports that the Philippine Postal Corp. (PhlPost) has launched a personalized stamp project where pictures of a person taken through a photo booth can be printed onto stamps.
The report explained that the photo booth, which can only be found at the moment at the PhlPost Central Office in Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila, will soon be available in Baguio City, Boracay, Chocolate Hills in Bohol and the Underground River in Palawan in time for the summer season.
PhlPost postmaster general Josefina dela Cruz said the stamps can be used "to mail letters or kept as souvenirs." The personalized stamps will measure 30 mm x 40 mm and cost P250.
