No hospital arrest for Janet Lim-Napoles after PNP doctors diagnose her condition as "not life-threatening"
She’s not getting her wish.
Julliane Love De Jesus of Inquirer.net reports that doctors from the Philippine National Police (PNP) have not recommended the confinement of alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles as they discovered the suspected ovarian cyst she has complained of was actually a mass in her uterus.
The report explained that doctors have concluded that Napoles' condition was "not alarming at this point in time [and] not life-threatening" after subjecting her to several medical tests for two hours at the PNP General Hospital in Camp Crame. The detained businesswoman earlier asked a Makati court "that she be placed under hospital arrest due to the presence of a suspected ovarian tumor."
But even though PNP doctors have ruled out hospital detention for Napoles, they still advised her to seek medical treatment for her dental problems and the "internal pains" she is experiencing in her index finger.
