QC wants to install CCTV cameras in public schools

ABS-CBNnews.com reports that "the local government of Quezon City is considering installing closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in all public primary and secondary schools in the city."

 

According to the report, the Quezon City Council stated that "having CCTV cameras in schools can help prevent crimes from happening inside and outside school grounds."

 

The report noted: "Records show that 85% of students in the city study in public schools."
