Sen. JV Ejercito allegedly calls netizen "Ungas! Duwag!" on Twitter after being provoked by comment

As a public official, he should learn how to be immune to personal insults. reports that Sen. Joseph Victo Ejercito has issued an apology for allegedly insulting a netizen at the height of the Senate probe on the pork barrel scam on Thursday (March 6).

The report explained that Ejercito had to apologize after Twitter user "Juke 27" posted a screenshot of a direct message (DM) he claims was sent by the senator after he criticized him for his questions at the Senate hearing. The message read: "Ungas! Duwag!"


While the senator did not confirm nor deny sending the DM, he admitted to feeling hurt when he thinks he's being insulted. "I’m used to engaging discussions with respect. The human side probably got the better of me," he tweeted.
