We’re just helping our neighbors.

ANC reports: "The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that there were no Filipino passengers aboard the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. The majority of the 239 people on board the Kuala Lumpur-Beijing flight were Chinese and the crew were all Malaysians. The other passengers were Australians, New Zealanders, Indonesians, Americans, and some Europeans."

The Maysia Airlines plane went missing on (Saturday, Mar 8) about two hours after take-off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The report added: "Nevertheless, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has joined efforts to locate the missing plane. The AFP is now using three naval ships and one aircraft to explore some areas of the West Philippine Sea and Palawan, where the plane might have crashed."
