Cecille Suerte Felipe of The Philippine Star reports that "Cadet First Class Aldrin Jeff Cudia has been excluded from the 223-member 'Siklab Diwa' Class of 2014 graduating from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Sunday (March 16)" after the PMA Review and Appeals Board upheld an earlier decision to dismiss him from the military school.
The report quoted Major Gen. Domingo Tutaan, a spokesman of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as saying on Tuesday (March 11) that "the decision of the Cadet Review and Appeals Board (CRAB) in the dismissal of Cudia from the military academy for violating the honor code" has been upheld after the higher appeals board found no irregularity in the procedures leading to the CRAB's first recommendation.
Tutaan added that although President Benigno Aquino III has already been informed about Cudia's dismissal, the cadet can still appeal the decision before Malacañang because it will still be up to Aquino to release a presidential issuance before the dismissal becomes effective.
