University of Cebu gives law school graduate a car for placing 6th in bar exams

That’s quite an incentive.

ABS-CBN News correspondent Gigi Grande reports that the University of Cebu is set to reward Manuel Sarausad, its law school alumnus, with a brand new car for placing sixth in the 2013 Bar Exams.

The report explained that the car is a yearly incentive offered by the school to its graduates to encourage them to top the grueling bar exams. Candice Gotianuy, chancellor of the University of Cebu, said Sarausad can have the car, a Toyota sedan, by Wednesday (March 19).

University of Cebu has produced two bar topnotchers since its law school was established in 2002. Atty. Baldomero Estenzo, dean of the law school, said he is not surprised Sarausad became a Bar topnotcher because "he's really a good student."
