Manila Bulletin Online reports that "28-year-old Helena Belmonte-a Filipino-American, residing at Unit E, 28th floor, Renaissance 1000 Tower, Meralco Avenue in Pasig-died after falling from the 28th floor of a building in Pasig City at dawn today, Thursday, March 20."

The report noted: "Belmonte reportedly fell from the veranda of her unit into the 7th floor. Her body was caught on top of an exhaust machine."

The report also added that "Belmonte's boyfriend told police that before the incident, they came back to the former's unit with a female friend after attending a party." The boyfriend revealed that he and their friend "helped the drunk Belmonte to her bed." They left for awhile but when they came back, Belmonte had already fallen.
