Beauty pageant "veteran" Mary Jean Lastimosa wins Bb. Pilipinas-Universe title on third try

ABS-CBNnews.com reports that Mary Jean Lastimosa was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2014 in this year's Binibining Pilipinas pageant held Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

The report noted: "Lastimosa, who hails from North Cotabato, is 26 years old. Including this year, Lastimosa has joined the pageant thrice. She finished second runner-up in 2011, which was won by Shamcey Supsup, and made it to the finals in the 2012 pageant dominated by Janine Tugonon."
