Somebody’s not happy: Archbishop Emeritus Oscar Cruz equates RH Law with "abortion"

To err is human, to grumble is divine. (Not!)

He hasn’t changed his tune...and we know he never will.

While some of use celebrated the fact that the Supreme Court found the Reproductive Health Law "not unconstitutional," somebody was feeling screwed by it.

In an interview cited on the ANC website immediately after the Supreme Court ruling, Archbishop Emeritus Oscar Cruz, pointed out, "It is not really a reproductive health. That is a misnomer. That is hiding the truth. It cannot be reproductive health because precisely it is against reproduction and another, it is against health."

Cruz’s sore statement didn’t stop there, as he went on to say, "In a way, I am expecting this decision because as far as this government is concerned, the matter of contraception is as passé. It is given. What is being discussed now is abortion-as plain as that."
