They’ll still always have Paris: Kanye West and Kim Kardashian forced to say, "I do" in California
How do we keep up with these two?
Frankly, we’re confused about which wedding is which. All we know is, they’re now together until divorce rears its ugly head.
Entertainment news source Bang Showbiz (via PEP.ph) reports that "Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were forced to legally wed in California before their planned ceremony in Paris after it was revealed that French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get married in the country."
Despite this "snag," Kadashian and West are still reportedly "determined to make their Parisian wedding (set for May 24) an experience that their 200 guests will never forget." (But will it still be "legal"?)
Aside from the lavish setting, loot bags for the Kadashian-West nuptials will allegedly contain bottles of Bollinger champagne, Creme de la Mer products, handmade souvenir trinkets with the bride and groom’s initials etched in Swarovski crystals, and other posh things.
This is Kardashian’s third time to tie the knot and West’s first. The two have a daughter named North.
