Bomb threat written on tissue paper makes Trinoma shoppers panic
What a dirty prank!
Julliane Love De Jesus of Inquirer.net reports: "A bomb threat written on a tissue paper allegedly by a prankster rocked Trinoma mall in Quezon City Monday afternoon, May 19."
In Francis T. Wakefield’s report in Tempo, it was revealed that Trinoma shoppers had to be vacated from the mall at 2:18 p.m. after cleaning crew member Heide Villagracia found the tissue paper with the bomb threat on top of a closed toilet bowl on Level 1 of the mall.
The words written on the tissue paper? read it and weep: "Umuwi na kayo, sasabog ang Trinoma sa loob ng isang oras, by concern (sic) citizen."
Villagracia alerted mall security. Soon, the bomb squad of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) conducted a search inside the mall. They found no traces of explosives in the area.
