Man with a saw attacks, injures 2 members of Japanese girl group AKB48

Reuters, via BBC.com, reports that members of the Japanese female pop group AKB48 were interacting with fans at a meet-and-greet function on Sunday, May 25, when a man with a 20-inch saw attacked them.
According to the report, AKB48 members Rina Kawaei, 19, and Anna Iriyama, 18, received emergency treatment for cut and broken fingers. Iriyama also had wounds on her face.
Police arrested a 24-year-old high school dropout named Satoru Umeta for the attack.
