Justice Secretary Leila de Lima on her alleged sex video: "It’s fake"

Oh, yes, somebody went there.

It may be remembered that Whistleblowers Association of the Philippines president Sandra Cam threatened to release a sex video featuring Department of Justice (DOJ) secretary Leila de Lima if the latter got the nod of the Commission on Appointments (CA).

Well, De Lima ot confirmed by the CA earlier this week. Thankfully, no such video has been leaked.

GMA News Online noted that "earlier reports quoted Cam as saying she received four cuts of De Lima's supposed sex videos with her driver and bodyguard."

In the same GMA News Online report, deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte had supposedly asked Cam not to use the CA as a venue for "whatever ax it is you have to personally grind" against de Lima.

Maila Ager of Inquirer.net reports that in an interview before she faced her confirmation hearing at the CA earlier this week, De Lima had this to say about the sex video: "I'm sure that's a fake. Remember whether it's fake or genuine, it's still a violation of Anti-Voyeurism Law."

Cam, in the same report, maintained that the sex video exists. "Well, there is. I've seen it but I'll tell the commission later," she said in a separate interview also before the CA hearing.

However, De Lima just brushed off her Cam’s claim. When asked again why she was not taking any action against Cam, she quipped: "I can't. It's really demeaning. Attacks like that do not deserve an ounce of dignified response. I refuse to be dragged in such gutter tactics."

Besides, does anyone really want to see that sex video?
