Kris Aquino has kinder words for Senator Jinggoy Estrada
She prefers one Panday over the other.
When Senator Bong Revilla put up a verbal fight (with barbs directed at President Noynoy Aquino) in the face of his imminent arrest over pork scam-related plunder and graft charges, Kris Aquino told him, "Silence is better than BS."
In the case of Senator Jinggoy Estrada, who turned himself in on Monday, June 23, Aquino seems to be more compassionate. Perhaps, it’s because he was far more subdued during his surrender.
On the Tuesday, June 24, broadcast of Aquino & Abunda Tonight, the Queen of all Media stated, "Sa pulitika, marami nang napagdaanan pero siguro napatunayan na that we have remained friends and I pray that we will continue to remain friends (In politics, we have gone through a lot of challenges but it has been proven that we have remained friends and I pray that we will continue to remain friends)."
Nestor Corrales of Inquirer.net reports, "Aquino admitted that Estrada talked to her before and after his privilege speech in the Senate on June 11. Aquino said Estrada told her that the senator was only worried for his children especially her eight-year-old Jill."
Both Revilla and Estrada are now detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame.
