Benilde students gave wrong information on which fraternity was responsible for hazing
This just makes things worse.
With your friend already dead, would you still hold back on the details that led to his demise?
ANC reports, "Two students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) who survived hazing last Saturday, June 28, initially told police they were initiated by Alpha Kappa Rho (AKRHO)."
However, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
The report explained that investigators found out that that the fraternity responsible for the latest incident of hazing, which claimed the life of DLS-CSB student Guillo Cesar Servando, is Tau Gamma Phi, not AKRHO. (Read: "De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde student dies from hazing, 3 others injured")
In an interview on dzMM, Manila Police District (MPD) Chief Supt. Rolando Asuncion said DLS-CSB has banned fraternities, which is probably why the students lied.
"Kaya ho siguro sinabi na AKRHO na UST chapter. Niligaw nung mga bata ang imbestigasyon (That’s why they said it was AKRHO’s UST chapter that was responsible. They misled investigators)," Asuncion said.
