Weather Update: Goodbye, Henry...and hello Inday
It’s one typhoon after another.
ABS-CBNnews.com reported that PAGASA is monitoring a new potential cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
PAGASA weather forecaster Jori Loiz said that a Low Pressure Area (LPA) is expected to enter PAR this week and it will likely intensify into a full-fledged cyclone. If it does, it will locally be named "Inday." Loiz added that the LPA was spotted east of the Bicol Region.
Meanwhile, Typhoon Henry is headed towards Taiwan.
However, PAGASA said that the Batanes Group of Islands remains under public storm warning signal number 2, thanks to Henry. This means that the province should expect winds of 61 to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) in at least 24 hours.
