Stars and director of Rurouni Kenshin movies to visit Manila

Did your <em>kokoro</em> go <em>dokidoki?</em> reported on July 25 (Friday) that the stars and director of the Rurouni Kenshin live action movie are slated to visit the country next month to promote the two-part sequel of the hit.


The announcement was made by William Ireton, president and representative director of Warner Entertainment Japan Inc.; and Francis Soliven, general manager of Warner Bros. Philippines, on July 25.


"We are thrilled to bring director Keishi Otomo and cast members Takeru Satoh, Emi Takei and Munetaka Aoki to Manila so they can personally thank and engage with the loyal fans of Rurouni Kenshin," said Ireton. "The Philippines is a very important market for the franchise as proven by the outstanding box office success in Manila of the first Rurouni Kenshin film."


Warner Bros. Philippines announced last May that Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno will premiere in the country on August 20, while Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends will be released on September 24.


There are no details on the exact date of their visit as of yet.
