Watch: Into the Woods teaser trailer

ABS-CBNNews.com reported that Disney has unveiled the teaser trailer of the highly anticipated film adaptation of Into the Woods.

The movie is a modern twist on the familiar Brothers Grimm fairy tales, including Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy)-all tied together by a plot involving a baker and his wife (James Corden and Emily Blunt). Meryl Streep plays a witch who puts on a curse on the couple. Best of all, it’s a comedy-slash-musical!

The film is directed by Rob Marshall, who is also behind movies such as Chicago and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. It is slated for release in the Philippines on January 21, 2015.
