Remember your Philippine history... with trading cards?

Relive history in a different way.

This is definitely one way to get people interested in history. reported on Tuesday (August 26) that the government has paid tribute to the commanders of the Philippine Revolution in the form of printable trading cards.


The trading cards may be downloaded from the Malacanang website and printed. They feature 23 generals and 1 major of the 1896 Philippine Revolution, including General Antonio Luna and Major Manuel Quezon.

Each card contains information on important dates, occupation, their battles,  the year it was held and whether it was a defeat or victory. These cards aim to raise historical awareness among the youth, particularly students.


These were released as part of the administration’s National Heroes Day celebration on Monday.
