Gilas Pilipinas takes third loss: 85-81 against Argentina

GMA News reported on Tuesday (September 2) that Gilas Coach Chot Reyes blames himself for the recent defeats of his team in matches against Croatia and Argentina. Gilas lost to the latter on Monday night, when Jayson Castro failed to do a play that could have taken the game into overtime.

"I have to get better shots for my team," said Reyes, who believes that his team has the ability to win, "We had a chance to win the Croatia game. We had a chance tonight. But I just couldn't get my players good shots."

The team is up against Puerto Rico and Senegal on September 3 and 4 respectively.
