The Vice President’s daughter said that they are prepared to face the allegations being hurled at them and are working on building a better defense, as they expect that more scandals will rock their family as the 2016 elections grow closer. Expressing her dismay, Senator Binay quipped, "It's just sad that the level of campaigning has not matured. Instead of the candidate telling people how he or she will resolve the problems, campaigning is about throwing dirt."

Senator Binay also revealed that her father is unfazed by the attacks and she shares the sentiment, stating that she draws strength from their supporters in Makati and prayer. She further stated that she believes winning the presidency is "all about destiny, God's will."
