Japan Burger King releases Black Burger
Not as racist as it sounds
Starting next week, September 19, Japanese customers of Burger King have the option of ordering a "Black Burger" or the Kuro Burger. According to a report by TIME, the black buns (made by coating regular buns with squid ink and black charcoal) have been around since 2012 but this year’s offer has a new novel addition...black cheese.
The Kuro Burger features the black buns, black ketchup, black cheese, beef patty, and add-ons like tomato, lettuce, and onions.
