Survey says: Senator Tito Sotto tops "Senatorial Preferences" survey
If you look at the complete list, some people will actually vote for DBM Secretary Butch Abad.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported on Monday (September 29) that, simply put, a lot of people will vote for Senator Tito Sotto in 2016.
The latest poll was conducted from September 8 to 15, with 1,200 respondents. Aside from Sotto (who really topped the list, we’re not kidding), Presidential Assistant to Food and Security and Agriculturual Modernization Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan also leads in the survey.
According to the survey, the top ten candidates are:
- Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III
- Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan
- DILG Secretary Manuel "Mar" Roxas
- Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
- Panfilo "Ping" Lacson
- Richard "Dick" Gordon
- Batangas Governor Vilma Santos
- Senator Ralph Recto
- Senator Franklin Drilon
- Juan Miguel Zubiri
DOJ Secretary Leila de Lima’s name was also on the list at 13th place, followed by Representative Manny Pacquiao. Curiously, even Dingdong Dantes was on the list, but at a distant 35th place.
