Yero for everyone

Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman Richard Gordon assured the people in Leyte, Cebu, and Ormoc that the PRC’s recovery program is in full swing. On Monday, ABS-CBN News reported that each of the mentioned provinces will be receiving P38.2 million worth of galvanized iron sheets and other construction materials. Earlier this year, the organization sent help to 5,277 in Ajuy, Balasan, and Lemery.

Gordon added, "These [is] on top of the 7,000 houses built by the Red Cross in Samar, Leyte, Cebu, and other places in the Eastern Visayas."

PRC Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang said that this program was done in partnership with American, Australian, Netherlands, Swiss, and Japanese Red Cross societies.
