Renée Zellweger: "I am different. I’m happy."
We learn another valuable lesson from Bridget Jones
Busybodies of the media and the Internet had a field day after Renée Zellweger made an appearance on the red carpet on Monday-some people were simply shocked, while others bordered on unfair scrutiny.
In an exclusive interview by People magazine, Zellweger said that she’s not bothered by people’s observations, "I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows."
However, she did call the conversation about her looks silly, explaining that some people will keep digging around for less desirable "truth" about the changes in her body. Zellweger attributed everything to a change in lifestyle and a more positive disposition, "I did work that allows for being still, making a home, loving someone, learning new things, growing as a creative person and finally growing into myself."
"Perhaps I look different. Who doesn’t as they get older?! Ha. But I am different. I’m happy," she said.
