Solon proposes lifetime driving ban for Maserati driver
Road rage is unacceptable
Quezon City 2nd District Representative Winston Castelo is seeking to permanently revoke Maserati driver Joseph Russel Ingco's driver's license to teach him and others an invaluable lesson.
In an interview with ABS-CBN's Umagang Kay Ganda, Castelo stressed that road rage can more often than not lead to untoward incidents, even injury and death. "I want to send a message not just in this case but to the general public that we will impose a higher penalty if there is injury as a result of road rage," Castelo said.
The driver of the Maserati stands firm that he did not curse at MMDA traffic enforcer Jorbe Adriatico, nor flashed the dirty finger at him, or tried to take away his cellphone during their encounter at the corner of Quezon Avenue and Araneta Avenue.
