The latest Pulse Asia survey, released on Tuesday night, reveals that Vice President Jejomar Binay has dodged the sink that was thrown at him recently. Oplan or no plan, the veep is still in the lead.
His closest contender, Senator Grace Poe, jumped from 8% to 18%-still a long way away from Binay’s numbers, which was down to 26% from 31% in September.
Joey Salgado spoke for the Binay camp and said, "If you recall, Trillanes bragged that in this survey the VP’s numbers will drop by 10 points or more. That did not happen. For us, it means that the people have seen through the motives of the senators who style themselves as presidentiables (sic). The people have seen the absence of substance behind the posturing and drama. The people are also telling the senators to stop the mudslinging and attend to the more pressing needs of the country."
