Japan donates P8.2 million in supplies to victims of Typhoon Ruby

They did not send helmets

ABS-CBN News reported on Wednesday (December 8) that Japan has donated 22 million Yen or around P8.2 million in supplies for the on-going post-Ruby relief operations. The "care package" includes blankets, plastic sheets, and sleeping pads for those affected by the typhoon that stayed in the Philippine Area of Responsibility for a pretty long time.

A quick peek at the comments on the news reveals that good old Pinoy sense of humor, with social media users chiding a certain anchor for seemingly wishing ill upon Japan. Perhaps a host from a rival TV network will have something to say about it, too.
