Metro Manila Stays Under Alert Level 1 from April 1 to 15

For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic started, Filipino Catholics can observe Holy Week outside of their homes as the government extended Alert Level 1 in Metro Manila and other areas.

Alert Level 1 will remain in effect in Metro Manila and several other areas from April 1 to 15, Malacañang said Thursday.

Under Alert Level 1, children are allowed outdoors and all businesses can operate at 100% capacity.

This year's Holy Week starts on April 10-17, Malacañang earlier declared April 14 (Maundy Thursday) and April 15 (Good Friday) as regular holidays and April 16 (Black Saturday) as a special non-working day.

Here are the areas under Alert Level 1 from April 1 to 15:
