Ospital ng Tondo in Manily temporarily halted face-to-face consultations due to the surge of COVID-19 cases in the hospital.
City authorities advised all patients scheduled to meet their doctors personally to consult via Oston Telemedicine to prevent the spread of the virus, the Manila Public Information Office said.
There was no date stated for the resumption of face-to-face consultations. The NCR Plus quarantine bubble with stricter restrictions runs from March 22 to April 4.

The Laboratory Department of Ospital ng Tondo was also temporarily closed until further notice as laboratory personnel await their RT-PCR test results.
Laboratory operations will resume once results are available.
