Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos said Monday he has no troll farms, claiming that his support base on social media is "organic".
The only son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos dared those who claim that he has troll farms to show evidence.
"I have never had a troll farm. I have never had a click army. I never boosted. Everything is organic," Marcos told One PH.Â
Boosting in social media publishing means platforms like Facebook give a post wider visibility for a fee. Posts that get clicks without boosting get traffic organically.
Critics' claim that people getting swayed by pro-Marcos content on social media "is an insult on Filipino intelligence", the former senator said, noting that young individuals can easily identify social media posts from such.
"I challenge them (critics) to show me where's the troll farm," he said.
Marcos Jr. is a survey frontrunner along with his running mate--President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter Sara.
