Here’s How Much You’ll Pay for the Most Common Traffic Violations

(SPOT.ph) The No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) is back—and it’s already catching hundreds of motorists. On the very first day of implementation, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) flagged a total of 1,112 violations.
With traffic cams now back in action, there’s no escaping penalties even if you think no one’s watching. Whether it’s a quick illegal turn, parking where you shouldn’t, or forgetting to wear your seatbelt, it all gets recorded—and fined. Some violations could cost you as little as P100, while others could set you back as much as P10,000.
So, how much are you risking with every traffic misstep? The MMDA has released a list of the top 20 most common traffic violations, along with the corresponding fines for each. Consider this your cheat sheet to avoid surprise citations.
