Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar said Friday she would raffle off a house and lot from the family-owned Camella Homes to those who will get vaccinated in the city, part of the family's efforts to ease public hesitancy to get jabbed against COVID-19.
The only daughter of the country's richest man, Manny Villar, and Sen. Cynthia Villar, said she would offer a P1.5 million house and lot before the end of the year. There will be separate monthly raffles, each for two motorcycles and 10 pangkabuhayan packages, all from her own pocket, said the lawmaker.

Among those eligible for the raffle are partially or fully vaccinated individuals and residents of Las Piñas. Forms and drop boxes will be available in barangay centers and other business establishments.
Villar said surveys showing vaccine hesitancy among Filipinos pushed her to fund the raffle. She hopes that the raffle draws will help bring more people to vaccination sites.
