The Commission on Elections on Wednesday assured voters who found double records in the online precinct finder that they could still vote on May 9, since this was possibly a human error that could be corrected.
Comelec Commissioner George Erwin Garcia asked those who found out from the online precinct finder that they share the same name with someone registered in the same area to visit their local Comelec office or wait for the voters information sheet to be given to them.

Makakaboto at makakaboto naman sila," he added.
Garcia said the distribution of the voters information sheet is still ongoing. This document indicates the voter's name, address, polling precinct, place where they are registered as a voter, and instructions on how to cast their vote.
Voters having the same issue may visit their local Comelec office from which all information in the online precinct finder came, Garcia said.
Garcia said the Comelec would run after voters who have multiple registrations, as this is an election offense punishable with up to six years in prison.
Some 65 million voters are expected to cast their votes in the May 9 elections, which will determine the successors of President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo.
