Apple Music Sing Lets You Have a Karaoke Party With Your iPhone
In time for the holiday season.
(SPOT.ph) Christmas is the time for family reunions and parties and Apple is spicing up the holidays as it introduces a new karaoke-like feature in its native music app, Apple Music.
Apple Music Sing, which is now available with the iOS 16.2 update, allows users to sing along to their favorite songs with adjustable vocals and real-time lyrics, Apple said, much like the typical karaoke except that it's on a mobile device.

What's included in Apple Music Sing?
With Apple Music Sing, users can control a song's vocal levels to create an instrumental-only track, allowing them to sing with the original artist vocals or even take the lead on the songs.
Users can also sing along to the songs with animated real-time lyrics that jive with the original vocals. Background vocals also animate independently from the main vocals so that users can easily follow them.
Apple Music Sing also features a duet view in which multiple vocalists appear on opposite sides of the screen so it's easier to sing a duet.
How to get Apple Music Sing
To experience Apple Music Sing, you need to have an Apple Music subscription and an Apple device updated to iOS 16.2, which is now available to download.
Your device also needs to have an A13 Bionic chip or newer, which means Apple Music Sing is only available to users with iPhone 11 and later or iPhone SE (3rd generation) with iOS 16.2.
The new feature is also available on the ninth generation iPad and later models and the newest Apple TV 4K.
Aside from the new feature itself, Apple also launched more than 50 companion playlists featuring songs, duets, choruses, and anthems fully optimized with Apple Music Sing.
