Coin Collectors, Bangko Sentral Now Sells Commemorative Money Online

(SPOT.ph) Good news for collectors: the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas launched an online store for commemorative notes and coins.

Commemorative money is issued to memorialize historic events, including the Pope Francis' Papal visit in 2015 and the Philippines' 100th year of Independence from Spanish rule. Some are bigger in size and made with precious metals in limited quantities, making them more expensive and special to its owners.
