1. John Prats shares first family photo

A week after the birth of his daughter, Lily Feather, John Prats took to Instagram on Monday, April 25, to share his "first family photo." The post featured him and his wife, Isabel Oli, seeing their newborn daughter for the first time, which he captioned with "Mga Kapamilya, eto po ang pamilya ko. Salamat po sa lahat ng nag-congratulate and nagdasal para amin." Prats and Oli tied the knot in May 2015.


2. Nadine Lustre admits feeling nervous about James Reid's fanbase

During a recent episode of JaDine's TV special, Nadine Lustre confessed to feeling nervous about the fanbase of her boyfriend, James Reid. "Minsan natatakot pa rin akong lumabas kasi feeling ko may sasabunot sa akin any time. Kasi you won’t believe kung gaano ka-grabe 'yong iba pong supporters sa kanya," she admitted. "They would go crazy just to ask for a photo and just to see him. So parang nakakatakot na baka awayin ako."

3. Beyonce's Lemonade album is headed to iTunes

Over the weekend, Beyonce surprised fans when she dropped her latest album, Lemonade, alongside a short film that doubled as a "visual album" on HBO. However, fans were dismayed when the album was only available for streaming via Tidal, Jay Z's music streaming service. However, a report from the New York Times confirmed that the album will be sold on iTunes. So far, it has yet to make an appearance on another popular music streaming service, Spotify.



4. Prince's album sales soar on Amazon and iTunes

Following the sudden passing of music legend Prince, his albums have now topped the download charts of both Amazon (dominating the top five digital albums) and iTunes (occupying all top six download spots). However, the late artist didn't chart in Spotify, as he previously pulled his discography from the site to give Tidal exclusive streaming rights. The top-charting albums included Purple Rain and Sign O' The Times.


5. Solar-powered plane completes flight across Pacific Ocean

There may be hope for renewable energy after all. A solar-powered plane has completed a risky, three-day trip from Abu Dhabi, flying across the Pacific Ocean and landing in California over the weekend. Its co-pilot, Bertrand Piccard, landed the Solar Impulse 2 south of San Francisco after a 62-hour, non-stop solo flight without fuel. He reportedly took turns with his fellow Swiss pilot, Andre Borschberg.

Game of Thrones, which made its return to TV on Sunday, is best known for its blatant portrayal of sex, nudity, and a lot of violence, so imagine how awkward it must be to watch it with your parents. 7. Prosecutor orders cybercrime raps vs. COMELEC site hacker

The Manila Prosecutor's Office has ordered the filing of cybercrime charges against Paul Biteng, the hacker who was arrested for defacing and leaking voters' data from the Commission on Elections' website. Manila Chief Inquest Prosecutor Joven Senados said Biteng will face charges for "violation of provisions of the Anti-Cybercrime Law" including illegal access, data interference, and illegal use of devices. According to Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chief Andres Bautista, Biteng admitted to committing the crime.

8. Leni Robredo takes VP lead in new SWS poll

Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo has taken the lead in the latest Social Weather Stations survey, just edging past Sen. Bongbong Marcos. Robredo rose by seven points to earn 26%, while Marcos fell by one point to earn 25%. Sen. Chiz Escudero came in at third place with 18%, a three-point drop from his previous rating. Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano was at fourth place with 16%.
