Harry Roque Gets Criticized Online for "Go Hang Themselves" Comment
"Ang suhestyon ko sa kanila, magbigti na lang po silang lahat, dahil hindi po mangyayari iyong gusto nila."
(SPOT.ph) Presidential spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque did not mince words for those who question the health condition of President Rodrigo Duterte. In a radio interview with DZRH on August 22, Roque had this to say to those who continue to speculate and insist that the president does not have a clean bill of health: "Ang suhestyon ko sa kanila, magbigti na lang po silang lahat, dahil hindi po mangyayari iyong gusto nila."
Naturally, Roque's comment caught the ire of several Filipinos, who immediately took to social media to vent out their anger towards the presidential spokesperson. Some felt that Roque's choice of words was unnecessarily harsh and insensitive, while others couldn't help but point out the irony of Roque having strong feelings against fake news.
Bato, bato sa langit...
Wait—did Roque just throw shade at his friends and colleagues?
No further comment.
Straight out of the President's mouth.
Well, that's a bit...contradictory.
Tangina ni Harry Roque for promoting suicide by hanging. Tangina lang talaga niya as a person.— Aa (@ronzaeboo) August 23, 2018

Harry Roque seems to have enough rope with which to hang himself. Does he not mislead us on a daily basis? https://t.co/v0Nh81Q60P— Leah Navarro (@leahnavarro) August 23, 2018
He is, after all, the presidential spokesperson.
