(SPOT.ph) You never know what you've got until you lose it—especially when we're talking about the Metro's water supply. Well, it looks like you better cherish what you have now. It's time to fill up all the water containers you have in the house: Manila Water has announced rotational water service interruption covering the Metro Manila East Zone starting tonight, October 24.
The scheduled interruptions will affect certain places in Parañaque City, Manila, Taguig City, Makati City, Pasig City, Mandaluyong City, San Juan City, Quezon City, and the Municipality of Pateros. Water service will be suspended at different times in the evening and will last until the morning; exact time will differ depending on where you are.Â
According to the post, water levels in Angat Dam has still not reached the levels needed to sustain continued service. There's no word on until when the service interruptions will last, but Manila Water says they may need to continue the rotation, "hanggang sa susunod na tag-araw, o maging sa kabuuan ng susunod na taon."—a pretty wide estimate, we know. Fingers crossed it doesn't reach until the holidays!
