Ready for Undas? Here's Where You Can Get Assistance While in Transit
Be extra prepared this season!
(SPOT.ph) Undas is a time for most Filipinos to come home and visit departed loved ones. It's also a time when moving around in and out of Metro Manila reaches new difficulty levels, and the lines at terminals get notoriously long. So if you find yourself in need of help in your travels, you'll be glad to know that there will be Malasakit Help Desks stationed at major transport terminals nationwide from October 25 to November 4.
Under Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Undas 2019, Malasakit Help Desks (MHDs) will have everything a passenger could possibly need. You can get emergency kits containing water and some snacks, too, although senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and pregnant women and children will be given priority. On the off-chance you need it, they will also have emergency medical assistance up and ready.
People stationed at the MHDs will also be open to questions, complaints, and even requests for help in getting taxis and the like. You can also bring problems regarding refund of terminal fees and even possible security threats.
In the Metro, these MHDs will be stationed at several places: including the North EDSA, Cubao, Shaw, Ayala, and Taft stations of the Metro Rail Transit 3; the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminals 1 to 4; and major bus terminals.
