Cuddle Weather Alert: Temperature in Metro Manila Dropped to 19 Degrees Today
(SPOT.ph) Looks like it's time to break out the sweaters (or drag the S.O. into a hug): The temperature in Metro Manila just dropped to 19°C today, January 22. The cold temp was recorded by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration at around 7:50 a.m. from their Science Garden monitoring station in Quezon City, according to a report by the Manila Bulletin.
This morning's cold temp was the lowest recorded in Metro Manila for the ongoing Amihan season. And though it's probably still not as cold as your ex's heart, it is pretty close to the lowest recorded temps in Metro Manila. Data from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) marks February 4, 1987, and December 30, 1988 as the coldest days in Metro Manila history, thanks to a recorded drop to 15.1°C, according to a report by the Philippine Star.
And it seems Metro Manila folk aren't the only ones experiencing a need for some cuddles. PAGASA also recorded a low temperature of 11.4°C in Baguio City today, the lowest temperature so far in 2020, according to a report by ABS-CBN News Online.
