(SPOT.ph) We're more than two months into quarantine, and for some of us, this has also meant adapting to a work-from-home setup. The transition to remote work seems to be easier for those who are in the 9-to-5 grind, especially those who have desk jobs as they usually just have to settle at their own nook at home. But things are a little bit different for folks in other industries. Most journalists, for example, have to do their interviews and reports via video conferencing apps, and go on air from their homes.
In the case of the DZMM radio show SRO or Suhestiyon, Reaksyon, Opinyon hosted by newscasters Alvin Elchico and Doris Bigornia, viewers were not just informed, but also left amused by a rambulan ensuing in the background in one of their recent episodes.
The May 15 episode of the show had Bigornia interviewing Jennylle Tupaz, president and CEO of Ayala Land Malls Inc. over the phone. Seconds later, we see Doris's face changing, seemingly distracted by something to her left: a literal cat fight between two furry creatures.
A few minutes after Bigornia's daughter Nikki tweeted the "incident," Bigornia addressed her "children," in another tweet, saying, "May batas sa studio!!!" The funny video has gotten over two million views as of writing.
The cats—who go by the name Bella Luna and Nala, respectively—are just two of Nikki's four cats. It's not the first time that a cat had made its way onto the older Bigornia's newscast. Prior to the episode which went viral, another one of their cats was spotted right by the bookshelf while the SRO host was reporting.
It seems that all's well that ends well with Bella Luna and Nala, with this May 17 video of them being affectionate with each other.
