2020 Strikes Again: Gmail Is Down and People Are Freaking Out
Is this a signal to just get the long weekend started?

(SPOT.ph) Google appears to be having some problems. Yup, you read that right: People across the globe have reported issues with using their e-mail service Gmail, their file-storage service Google Drive, and more—prompting a worldwide freak-out (because there's nothing more annoying than inconveniencing us while we're hard at work, right? Right.).Â
#GoogleDrive was also unable share files or upload and download them. "Google and their engineering team is investigating the issue," said sources. Google has also confirmed the outage on its status page. #Gmail pic.twitter.com/aJzgXWNUOT

Google has acknowledged the problem with an update on its G Suite Status Dashboard, showing a "service disruption" for Gmail, Google Drive,Â
Google Docs, Google Groups, Google Chat, Google Meet, Google Keep, and Google Voice. The problem appears to affecting not just the Philippines but several other cities worldwide, too. A disruption this big isn't expected from something as dominant as Google but this is just the latest in 2020 news, so it's really not that hard to believe.Â
The strange and sudden glitch has people torn between people panicking or just plain accepting their fate—and having reason to just chill for a bit (Pro tip: You can't ignore work emails if you're not receiving them!). We round up some of the funniest reactions to the biggest Google glitch in recent history:
Ah yes, Twitter, the Internet's therapy place.
Holiday started early!
Does that "something" pertain to this entire year, maybe?
Look on the brightside!
We feel you, Gmail.
...and then it just crashes on you.
Oh well, back to bed!
Even Aunt Julie is running out of options.
Talk about mixed emotions.
Yup!
