You Can Book Evening Vaccination Slots at These Cities in Metro Manila
To accommodate day workers.
(SPOT.ph) With vaccination of essential workers now underway, employees are doing their best to get a vaccination schedule from their local government units. Some are filing sick leaves as a precaution for any side effects after their inoculation, but others just don't have the luxury to miss a day at work. In an effort to immunize workers whose only free time is in the evening, a few Metro Manila cities started offering night slots for their vaccination schedule.
Here are Metro Manila cities where you can get vaccinated in the evening:
Metro Manila's biggest city launched "Bakuna Nights" on June 16 in an effort to inoculate workers whose only free time starts at 6 p.m. To register, just log on to QC Vax Easy's website and check "Gabi" (night) for the question on your availability (Kailan ka mas available para sa iyong bakuna?). Quezon City's Bakuna Nights is available from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Quezon City Hall vaccination site.
Mandaluyong City has also extended the hours of vaccination at two vaccination sites: City Hall Grounds (across Petron Station) and Megatrade Hall at SM Megamall. The city's Bakuna Night is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and this schedule is available to A1 to A5 priority groups. To reserve your slot, book through the MandaVax website.
Taguig City officially launched their version of Bakuna Nights on July 14 at the Taguig High Street Mega Vaccination Hub. The vaccination site is open until midnight for those in the A4 priority group. The local government is also planning to extend their operating hours to 24/7 to accommodate more workers and residents. To get a vaccination slot, register through Taguig TRACE.
