(SPOT.ph) Quezon City is the world's fifth top listener of Taylor Swift music on Spotify, the streaming giant said today, October 7, as Swifties await the release of the new album, Midnights.

Spotify did not specify which Swift album Quezon City folk streamed the most to capture their mood—whether it's Red for choosing partners whom they knew were trouble as soon as they walked in or 1989 for shaking off an ex to bouncy rhythms.

The Philippines' most populous city placed in the top 5, behind first placer London, New York, Sydney and Melbourne based on streams from September 7 to October 4. In April 2019, Quezon City also topped the list of cities that streamed Swift's music on Spotify. Midnights, set to be released on Oct. 21, is Swift's third new album during the COVID era after 2020's Evermore.

Midnights will contain 13 songs, which the pop icon described as "stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life". Swift has so far released the titles of nine of the 13 songs on the album through her TikTok series Midnights Mayhem with Me.
